Angelina Jolie and Jack Black are promoting their new film in Cannes today, after the actor let slip his co-star was expecting twins.
Jolie and Black lend their voices to characters in the new Dreamworks animation Kung Fu Panda, showing out of competition.
Black dropped the hint last night during an interview with Jolie for a television show.
He joked to Jolie that she and partner Brad Pitt will "have as many as the Brady Bunch when you have these."
"It's confirmed?" asked NBC interviewer Natalie Morales.
"Yeah, yeah, we've confirmed that already," Jolie said. "Well, Jack's just confirmed it actually."
"Is that true?", Black said jokingly.
"Yeah, you did," Jolie replied.
"Sorry," Black said.
Excerpts of the interview were being broadcast last night on Access Hollywood, with the full interview airing this morning on NBC's Today.
Twins would be the fifth and sixth children for Jolie and Pitt. They have three adopted children, Maddox, 6, Pax, 4, and Zahara, 3, as well as their biological daughter, Shiloh, who will turn 2 at the end of the month.
Further confirmation of a fifth and sixth child for Jolie came this afternoon. During a press conference about the film, Jolie confirmed: "Yes, they are twins."
Asked about reports she was planning to give birth in France, Jolie replied that she had not completely decided, but added: "We are certainly thinking of France."
She said French was a second language which her children were starting to speak "so being here is very good for them at this time".
Yesterday Black showed off his kung fu moves with 40 life sized "pandas" on the Carlton Hotel pier.
Dustin Hoffman and Lucy Liu also star in the film, which centres around Po, a clumsy kung fu fan who works in his family's noodle shop.
He is unexpectedly chosen to fulfil an ancient prophecy and join the kung fu world.
Another film starring Jolie, director Clint Eastwood's Changeling, is in the running for the Palme d'Or.

Good for them. If you have the money to support a large family, why not ? My Mum and Dad had four daughters. My mother would have had another two, but they could not afford to buy a bigger house.
I had a great childhood and still have great times with my 3 sisters.
