As the owner of an 'older' Aston Martin (www.aston-v8.co.uk) - there is much in what Clarkson says that resonates.
But what you need to consider is that once the rich kids have wiped out a significant number of their new toys, and the survivors make it into classic car status, they will fall into the hands of enthusiats who actually boast about their particular cars' idosyncrasies.
Therefore, what Jeremy sees as a fault now will be a prime selling point in 20 years time.
