What’s different? This is the ultimate road-going production Ferrari, using the distinctly rapid F430 as its basis. Power rises from 490bhp to 510bhp, while weight drops by 100kg, thanks to stripping out luxuries and the use of high-tech materials. There are no performance claims, but a 0-60mph time of 3.5sec looks likely, aided by a new superfast gearbox
Why should I care? Ferrari says it represents “the zenith of Ferrari’s achievements in terms of developing road-certified sports cars”. It’s not just a stripped-out F430 but a highly evolved, track-oriented driving machine, which Ferrari claims is also comfortable and civilised
